And you thought you had a nice garden? Prepare to be amazed by these fine works of art currently on display at The Hudson River Museum in Yonkers.
Contemporary Photography and the Garden brings together the work of sixteen American and European artists. Pieces range from depictions of gardens as tranquil havens to places of tension where exquisite beauty seems to coexist uneasily with inexorable forces of nature.
There are sixty-seven tantalizing works in all, depicting gardens in Japan, Indonesia, India, France, Great Britain, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. The exhibit ends May 13th.
