The village of Pleasantville lies within the boundaries of the town of Mount Pleasant in Westchester County, New York.  Though the village is not large, with a population just over 7,000 in the 2000 Census, its impact on the area is rather large.  Pleasantville is the home of one campus belonging to Pace University, bringing scholars in to attend the school.
